Charlene Nicholson


Charlene obtained a B.S. in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics from East Stroudsburg University. Char immediately continued with her Master’s Degree in Education from Lehigh University. She began her teaching career for the Easton Area School District. For the next thirty years, she taught primarily first grade. She also looped (taught the same students for two consecutive years) four different times. She ended her career teaching second grade for four years. After retiring, she began substituting both in Easton and upstate New York at the Town of Webb Union Free School District. Char had a long-term substitute position teaching fourth grade in New York. She keeps current during her retirement by attending professional development workshops on education, as well as, taking some computer courses. She has been an online instructor for Agolino Educational Service since AES’s inception in 2012.
