Rubrics for Teaching, Instruction and Assessment

This three-credit graduate level course is designed to provide educators with an in-depth exploration of strategies and techniques for developing and using rubrics to assess student performance in the classroom. This course will introduce educators to a wide variety of rubrics for teaching, instruction, and assessment that will maximize student performance and enable them to better meet the Pennsylvania Core Standards and perform well on standardized tests, mainly the PSSA and Keystone Exams. This is an online Google Classroom course, and each module contains a series of lessons, videos, written responses, and other activities.
