Promoting Self-Determination

This three-credit graduate level course is designed for teachers from grades K-12. The participant will be introduced to a wide array of instructional materials and methods that can be used to promote self-determination in students with disabilities. Emphasis will be placed upon the educational benefits of student involvement in the planning and decision-making process. This is an online Google Classroom course, and each module contains a series of lessons, videos, written responses, and other activities.
