Teaching Students to Choose Responsible Behavior

This three-credit graduate level course is designed to provide educators with an in-depth exploration of the Assertive Discipline strategies and techniques put forth by Lee Canter and other educational researchers aimed at teaching students to choose responsible behavior, and in doing so, raising their self-esteem, and increasing their academic success in meeting the Pennsylvania Core Standards and perform well on state and local assessments. This is an online Google Classroom course, and each module contains a series of lessons, videos, written responses, and other activities.
